Our take
LEGOLAND is the park where the little ones are tall enough for almost everything and the lines are short. Kids drive real cars, build and race, and ride with no adult needed on many rides. It is the wrong park for teens. The new Galacticoaster (2026) gives older kids one real thrill.
Who it works for
Little ones
- DUPLO Valley for the smallest, with no height limits
- MINILAND USA, Pirate River Quest and Benny’s Play Ship
- Beetle Bounce (36 in) and Lost Kingdom Adventure (30 in with an adult)
Big kids
- LEGO Ferrari Build & Race and the driving school
- Galacticoaster, the indoor space coaster opened Feb 2026 (36 in with an adult, 48 in alone)
Teens
- Honestly: skip it, or let them have a day at the resort pools instead
Grandparents and a slower pace
- Cypress Gardens, the historic botanical garden inside the park, is shaded and quiet
Height check
My shortest rider is
| Ride | Minimum | Can ride |
|---|---|---|
| Lost Kingdom Adventure (with adult) | 30 in | |
| Beetle Bounce | 36 in | |
| Galacticoaster (with adult) | 36 in |
Heights are checked with shoes on. Every ride not listed has no minimum height. Riders under 48 in at Universal need a companion 14 or older.
Game plan from ChampionsGate
- Buy online in advance; it is roughly half the gate price.
- It is 35 to 45 minutes the other way from Disney, so do not pair it with a Disney day.
- The water park and Peppa Pig Theme Park next door are separate tickets.
