The toddler packing list for Orlando (and what you can leave at home)

A practical checklist, plus everything already waiting at SuperVilla.

By The Orlando Playbook
Short answer: Check what the rental provides first. At SuperVilla, cribs, a stroller, high chair, monitors, baby bath and toys are provided, so you mainly need clothes, swim diapers, sunscreen, medications and comfort items.

Pack these

  • Clothes for the heat plus one warm layer for evenings and air-conditioned rides.
  • Swim diapers and a sun hat.
  • Sunscreen and bug spray.
  • Any medications, a thermometer and the pediatrician's number.
  • Your child's favorite cup, lovey and bedtime book.
  • Snacks for the car and the park lines.
  • A small carrier for parks where strollers wait outside rides.

Leave these at home (if you're staying at SuperVilla)

These are already in the house:

  • Mini crib, pack and play, travel crib, and crib sheets
  • City Mini jogger stroller
  • High chair and children's dinnerware
  • Baby bathtub, bottle drying rack and brush
  • Baby monitors
  • Toys, books, magnetic tiles, costumes
  • Puddle jumpers and pool toys

One guest traveling with an 8-month-old and a 5-year-old wrote that they "were able to pack light" because the essentials were there.

Safety at the house

  • Built-in baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.
  • A child safety fence around the pool.
  • Outlet covers and room-darkening shades for naps.

Always supervise children near water, fence or not.

Nap-friendly park days

Go early, come back for a nap, head out again in the evening if anyone still has energy. ChampionsGate is about 14 miles from Magic Kingdom, so the midday round trip is realistic. Many families skip the second trip and spend the evening at the pool instead.
