Disney World ticket prices for 2026 and 2027, worked out for a group of 16: base vs Park Hopper, adult vs child, how dates change the total, and where groups save.
Tickets are usually the biggest line in a Disney budget. Bigger than the house. Bigger than food.
For a family of four, a price swing is annoying. For 16 people, it's a car payment.
Let's do the math for a big group. Prices below are from the MouseSavers chart, checked Oct 2026. All totals below are estimates built from published price ranges. Check Disney's site for your exact dates.
How Disney prices tickets now
Three things set your price:
- Start date. Disney uses date-based pricing. Busy days cost more.
- Number of days. More days, lower cost per day.
- Add-ons. Park Hopper, water parks, and so on.
And one rule that matters a lot for groups: Disney counts anyone 10 and up as an adult. Kids 3 to 9 pay a little less. Under 3 is free.
Price ranges, per person
These are advance-purchase prices with tax, from the MouseSavers chart (current as of October 2026). The low end is a quiet date. The high end is peak season.
| Ticket | Adult (10+) | Child (3–9) |
|---|---|---|
| 3-day base | $406–$606 | $392–$591 |
| 4-day base | $523–$773 | $504–$754 |
| 5-day base | $570–$871 | $549–$849 |
| 4-day Park Hopper | $613–$885 | $595–$866 |
Reports on 2027 show the same 4-day and 5-day ranges so far. Peak single-day Magic Kingdom tickets for 2027 hit $229 before tax.
Buying at the gate costs more. Buy ahead.
The group of 16 math
Let's say your group is 10 people age 10 and up, plus 6 kids ages 3 to 9. That's a common mix for three families. (Estimates, rounded.)
| Ticket | Low date | Peak date |
|---|---|---|
| 4-day base | ~$8,250 | ~$12,250 |
| 5-day base | ~$8,990 | ~$13,800 |
| 4-day Park Hopper | ~$9,700 | ~$14,040 |
Look at that gap. The same 4 days can cost $4,000 more depending on when you go.
Per person, a 4-day base ticket for this group runs about $516 to $766.
Where big groups save
1. Move the week
The single biggest lever. Late August and September are usually cheapest. Christmas is the most expensive. More on timing in the 2027 timing guide.
2. Don't buy everyone the same ticket
Grandparents who want 2 days don't need 5. Toddlers under 3 are free. Buy what each person will use.
3. Skip Park Hopper for most people
For 16, the hopper add-on is around $1,400 to $1,800 on a 4-day ticket. Big groups rarely hop anyway. Moving 16 people between parks mid-day is a project.
4. Add a day cheaply
The jump from 4 to 5 days is small per person. If you're doing 4, price 5. You might use the extra day on a slow morning.
5. Build in rest days
A 4-day ticket in a 7-night trip leaves three days for the house and the resort. Mary's group of 14 "were there for a week and only left for 1 day to go to Magic Kingdom." That's extreme. But it shows you don't need a park every day.
How lodging fits
Base ticket prices don't change with where you sleep. What changes is everything else.
SuperVilla rates run $280 to $1,109 a night for up to 18 people. Divide the nightly rate by 16 and it's often less per person than one day's park ticket (cleaning and tax are extra, shown in your booking total). The house is 14 miles from Magic Kingdom, so you're not losing much time driving.

A few rules worth knowing
- Tickets are tied to dates. In general you can change dates before you use them and pay the difference if the new date costs more. Check Disney's current ticket terms before you buy.
- Buy from Disney or a well-known authorized seller. Skip anything that seems too cheap.
- Have one person manage everyone's tickets in the Disney app. It saves a lot of texting.
Ready to lock in the house?
Book the house first, then buy tickets for those dates. Check your dates.
