Start with the sleeping plan, not the park tickets
Most multi-family trips go wrong at bedtime, not at the parks. Before anything else, count adults, kids and babies, and map who sleeps where. Couples want a door that closes and their own bathroom. Kids want to be together. Babies need a crib near their parents.
At SuperVilla that maps cleanly: four king master suites for up to four couples, four themed kids' rooms with bunks and full beds, and three cribs (mini crib, pack and play, travel crib). Up to 18 guests total.
Don't do every park day together
Three families rarely want the same pace. A pattern that works:
- Pick one or two "everyone" park days and go together.
- On other days, split up: the thrill-ride crowd heads out, toddlers and grandparents stay back.
- Plan at least one full house day. Pool, theater, arcade, resort waterpark.
For a lot of families, the house day is the one the kids remember most. One family of 17 "spent an entire day without leaving the house.")
One house vs four hotel rooms
With hotel rooms, the group scatters at 8 PM. In a house, the evening is the trip: dinner at one table, a movie on the 130" screen by the pool, kids asleep down the hall while the adults stay up.
Practical wins too: two full-size fridges for groceries, a washer and dryer, free parking for up to 4 vehicles, and one gate code instead of four room keys.
Split the costs without the awkward spreadsheet
Agree on the split before booking: by family, by adult, or by bedroom. Decide upfront who covers shared groceries. Add-ons like pool heat ($35 per day) are easiest to split evenly.
Logistics checklist
- Collect full names and ages of all guests, and license plates for every car, at least 24 hours before arrival (the community gate needs them).
- Max 4 vehicles; carpool from the airport (MCO is 28 miles).
- Add pool heat if you're visiting October to March.
- Plan your first grocery run: Publix is about 5 minutes away.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM, so plan the karaoke accordingly.
