Everything included at ChampionsGate: Retreat Club, Oasis Clubhouse, three golf courses, free tennis and pickleball, gated security, and how it compares to nearby resorts.
People book SuperVilla for the house. Then they find out the resort around it is half the fun.
There's already a quick overview of the resort and a deep dive on Retreat Club vs Oasis Clubhouse. This one is the bigger picture: what's free, what costs extra, golf, groceries, the gate, and how ChampionsGate stacks up against Windsor Island and Storey Lake.
What's included with your stay
Two amenity centers come free with SuperVilla.
The Retreat Club (3-minute walk). Close enough for flip-flops. Dueling slides, a splash pad, a zero-entry pool, mini golf, and a bar. Open 10 AM to 8 PM. In off-peak season it's Wednesday to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday. Mini golf costs extra.
Oasis Clubhouse (6-minute drive). 16,000 square feet of pools and shade:
- 1,023-foot lazy river
- Two-story water slide
- 2 pools and a hot tub
- Children's splash zone
- 26-seat movie theater and arcade
- Fitness center
- Restaurant and tiki bar, cabanas
- Playground, tot lots, children's play center
Oasis is also open 10 AM to 8 PM.
The honest take: Retreat Club for a quick swim before dinner. Oasis for a full "rest day" between parks. The comparison guide has the which-day breakdown.
Golf: three courses within 8 minutes
ChampionsGate was a golf resort before it was a vacation-home resort. Golfers in your group will notice.
| Course | Drive from SuperVilla | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ChampionsGate Country Club | 3 min | Open to non-members 11 AM–2 PM. Tee times were $69–$99 + tax with cart and range balls; clubs $50 (as of April 2024) |
| Omni Orlando Resort, International Course | ~8 min | International feel, (407) 787-4653 |
| Omni Orlando Resort, National Course | 8 min | 1500 Masters Blvd |
Prices change. Call to confirm when you book: ChampionsGate CC is (407) 507-2756.
One catch: the Country Club only takes non-members 11 AM to 2 PM, so it's a midday round. Send the golfers out after breakfast and meet them at Oasis when they're done.
Courts and sports (free)
- Tennis & pickleball: ChampionsGate Country Club, 3-minute drive. Sunrise to sunset. Rackets and balls can be borrowed if available; return by 5:45 PM.
- Basketball, soccer, playground: 5-minute drive, in Reunion.
- Sand volleyball: two regulation courts at Oasis. Volleyballs are at the house.
For a group of 16, a pickleball morning costs nothing and burns off a lot of energy.
Everyday life: groceries and errands
With 2 full fridges and a table for 12, most big groups cook. Do a big grocery run on arrival day, or schedule a delivery to land after check-in.
Publix is about 5 minutes away. The house's starter kit covers toilet paper, coffee and dish pods, not breakfast for 16, so make that first run before anyone gets hungry. Want the full kitchen list? It's on the house page.
Gated and quiet
ChampionsGate is gated, with 24-hour security. Fair warning: the gate only lets in names and license plates you sent ahead (the FAQ has the details), so send your list to the hosts at least 24 hours out. That matters when you've got kids running between the house and the Retreat Club. It's also why the streets are quiet at night.
ChampionsGate vs other big resorts nearby
You'll see Windsor Island and Storey Lake in your search too. All three are good. They're built for different trips:
| ChampionsGate | Windsor Island | Storey Lake | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big draw | Two clubhouses + golf | One big water-park clubhouse | Two clubhouses, each with a lazy river |
| Real golf | 3 courses within 8 min | No (mini golf only) | No (mini golf only) |
| Distance to Disney | 13–14 mi to the parks | ~9–12 mi | ~5 mi, the closest of the three |
Windsor Island and Storey Lake details checked Oct 2026 from public resort info, not a full audit. Confirm amenities with whoever you book.
If being closest to Disney is the whole point, Storey Lake wins. No point pretending otherwise.
If you want real golf, free courts and two pool complexes in one gated resort, that's ChampionsGate.
How far is everything?
From SuperVilla: 13 miles to Hollywood Studios, 14 to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom, 20 to Universal, 28 to MCO. Full table in the drive times guide. Want day trips? See day trips from ChampionsGate.
Some guests barely leave. Kellie wrote, "We didn't even do Disney and still had a blast here." Read more on the reviews page.
