Close, air-conditioned and easy with little kids, with a 360° ocean tunnel. But it is small (60-90 min) and pricey for what you get. Best combined with other I-Drive stops.
Overview
SEA LIFE Orlando is a Merlin Entertainments aquarium in ICON Park on International Drive, about 25 minutes from ChampionsGate. Visitors follow a one-way route through themed zones, from Florida's coast to a tropical reef. The finale is a 360-degree ocean tunnel with sharks, green sea turtles and rays swimming overhead and below.
Highlights: The tunnel, a rockpool touch zone (crabs, anemones, starfish), seahorses, jellyfish and an octopus. Talks and feeding sessions run through the day.
Who it's for: Toddlers and young kids especially. It is fully indoors, air-conditioned and stroller-friendly. Most families finish in 60-90 minutes, so teens and adults may find it short for the price.
ICON Park / The Wheel (Orlando Eye) status: The 400-foot observation wheel next door, formerly the Orlando Eye and now "The Wheel at ICON Park," is CLOSED for maintenance per the official SEA LIFE ticket page (checked Oct 2026). Do not plan around a wheel ride or buy any combo that assumes it. Recheck before your trip.
Practical tips: Buy online for the lowest date-based price ("from $29"). Combo tickets with Madame Tussauds next door, or with LEGOLAND Florida, can lower the per-attraction cost. ICON Park parking is paid. Go on a weekday morning to avoid crowds. Pair it with Crayola Experience (#10) or WonderWorks (#18) for a rainy I-Drive day.
Good to know

Still being confirmed with the venue:
